Job Description:
We are looking for a Seasonal Service Tech/Delivery Rep to support our peak season by delivering, installing, and removing of large propane tanks at customer locations and driving an AmeriGas Bobtail propane delivery truck and filling tanks for residential and industrial customers.

This position requires candidates that can work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekend work.

Service Tech Responsibilities:

  • Drive a flat bed truck to deliver, install and remove large tanks
  • Operate a crane and dolly to maneuver tanks
  • Perform all installations and removals of tanks
  • Find and repair leaks at customer sites
  • Deliver, pick up and repair customer storage cages
  • Operate a trencher to run gas lines
  • Assist with sanding and painting of tanks


Delivery Rep Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery truck to customer sites and fill empty customer tanks of all sizes by pulling the truck's hose from the truck to the tank location.
  • Customer tanks may be located indoors or outdoors. Outdoor tanks will be filled by using the hose from the truck; inside tanks will be carried outside to the truck to be filled and then returned inside.



Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old with a valid CDL with HazMat, Trailer, and Air Brake endorsements, and acceptable driving history
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
  • Ability to walk 1 to 2 miles and climb steps/ladders
  • Lifting, loading and carrying cages, cylinders and equipment
  • Bending and climbing in and out of the truck
