INDEPENDENT SALES CONTRACTOR



POSITION: This position represents VHI Transport in the market place to users of transportation services, which primarily are truck load shippers and reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The primary objective of this position is to build revenue with accounts primarily that utilizes flat bed services.

Responsibilities include:

Sales development and new business
Management of accounts
Handling service needs with accounts.
Helping the company manage credit risks
With Customer Service, establish pricing and manage profitability of accounts.
A trade association membership in a related industry is desirable.
Compensation: A small start up salary will be discussed, however, this position offers unlimited earning potential through commissions. We have a proven track record that rewards the individual as well as the company.

This opportunity has the option of wokring as the saleasperson only or sales/operations.



Job Requirements:
Qualifications: The successful candidate should desire a small, yet successful company that fosters an environment of personal growth and recognizes the challenges of a highly competitive, growth oriented transportation field. Transportation and/or Sales experience is desired. The successful candidate shall possess good reasoning, the ability to work well in a fast paced environment, good telephone and computer skills, high energy, good people skills, a dedicated work ethic and a desire to accomplish.
