Independent Freight Broker/Agents will prospect and engage new and existing customers to utilize freight services. Independent Freight Broker/Agents will be responsible for securing business, brokering freight, identifying and engaging new carriers and developing lane rates based on current available data including fuel surcharge and accessorial charges.

Agents will be supported by our client's Headquarter staff, which will facilitate all back-end processes including, but not limited to, payables, receivables and customer background checks. Independent Agents will enjoy the flexibility of working from a home office with unlimited commission-based income potential as part of a leading third-party transportation company.

This opportunity has no location restrictions as it is a nationwide opportunity.

Opportunities for Independent Agents interested in freight sales only are also available.

Job Requirements:
Education/Skills and Experience Requirements: Experience selling or moving freight
Preferred: Experience both selling and moving freight
  • Experience identifying leads and cold calling
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an autonomous entrepreneurial environment
