    POSITION TITLE: SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (12 MONTH CONTRACT)

    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you WILL have:
    • 7-10 years full life cycle procurement experience
    • CPP or PMAC
    • Full understanding and experience with contract negotiation and administration
    • Good understanding of IT and consulting procurement.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is a provincial health organization and government liaison; a Government Health advisory expert in specific illness prevention, detection and care. Responsible for more than half a billion dollars of public health care funding they work with regional treatment centers and hospitals to ensure quality of care and services.     They are currently looking to bring on two strategic minded procurement professionals for a 1 year contract to help the procurement division continue to grow and develop. This in not an average contract role as you will be given both vacation time over the year and full benefits as well. We are looking for someone with 7-10 years of full life cycle procurement experience; this is not a role for someone that is only comfortable doing parts of the process. We are seeking individuals that can manage a full procurement process from end to end with strong contract negotiation and management skills.

    SALARY RANGE: $85K - $100K plus vacation and full medical benefits.

    EDUCATION: University Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or Purchasing.

    EMPLOYEE TYPE: Full Time (for one year)
