Job Description: Manager, Reverse Logistics, Requisition # 0901366
We are seeking a dynamic Reverse Logistics Manager in our Denver operations office to manage an External Repair Services (ERP) business partner. This is a management role that: presents and interacts with customers, and the internal functional teams to ensure program results are achieved on time and within budget; and make executives aware of issues and presents resolutions. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage support employees in a matrix environment and be proactive while continuously searching for ways to improve, motivate, and generate measurable results through influence.
Duties include but aren't limited to:
- Manages third party set top boxes repair facility and creates statements of work, negotiates rates, and monitors performance.
- Establishes and manages the budget for reverse logistics company activities and approves all charges associated to the budget.
- Gathers and interprets relevant data (cost, productivity, demand, patterns, etc.) and provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
- Develops periodic performance reports and distributes them to stakeholders.
- Defines and assists with implementation and management of all IT system processes associated with company reverse logistics from a user prospective.
- Works all order and Return Material Authorization (RMA) system rejects to resolution ensuring all parties associated with the returns process have 100% systems compliance.
- Develops and reports on reverse logistics metrics.
Works with cross-functional areas to ensure an adequate supply of refurbished equipment is available for company sales and rental program deployment.
- Creates, releases and updates all required supporting process documentation.
- Reviews failure trend data to catch and investigate reoccurring failure trends by set top box type.
- Manages onsite ECO compliance and WIP with the business partner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical/ analytical field (IT, Finance, Computer Science) is preferred and must have five to eight (5 - 8) years progressive operational experience managing electronics production line(s), warehousing, distribution center(s), reverse logistics and repair operations.
- Must have highly developed leadership, management, communication (written & verbal) organizational, presentation, interpersonal, teambuilding, and customer service skills.
- Expert knowledge of material replenishment, required.
- Must have computer proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of business analytical applications preferred (e.g., Cognos, SAP, etc.)
- May require up to 35% travel and the ability to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement.
