Title: Sales Manager Business Unit: Freight Brokerage Location: Toronto, Canada We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our dedicated team as a Sales Manager in our Gallop Logistics location in Toronto, Canada. This position provides leadership and overall support to the sales team on to ensure attainment of revenue goals. The ideal candidate must possess the following: • Help create and implement new sales strategy driven by the company objectives • Motivate and coach the existing and new sales staff formally and informally • Maintain high margins and spot rates in a highly volatile and face pace environment • Increase sales numbers with current customer base and increase new accounts to surpass targets and even out seasonality swings • Implement new long term sales strategy plan for department and company based on quarterly results Responsibilities Include: • Review and assess all training materials and methods and make adjustments and improvements • Introduce and implement new incentives and motivational techniques • Manage new and experienced sales staff to company objectives • Perform evaluations of all new hires for job readiness and help Improve performance of all current sales staff • Create a culture of accountability • Maintain relationships with existing customers Education and Experience: • 5 years in management and sales knowledge • 5 years in Freight Brokerage experience and perishable good is a plus. • Completed courses in University with experience in the transportation field. • Ability to make fast and precise decisions with minimal supervision • Flexibility to adapt to fast pace culture with an open environment and interactive employment. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Highly motivated individual with ability to work under pressure We offer: • Full time and part time positions, and competitive compensation • Comprehensive benefits and retirement package • Paid vacations and holidays • We offer long-range career opportunities We invite qualified candidates to email your resumes including salary requirements.
