| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: MASTER SCHEDULER / PRODUCTION PLANNER JOB CATEGORY: MATERIALS MANAGEMENT / PURCHASING INDUSTRY: ELECTRONIC RF / WIRELESS LOCATION: VANCOUVER, BC DATE: SEPTEMBER 23, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195934 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have: • At least 5 years of supply chain planning experience • Extensive experience in SAP, JD Edwards, Clarity, and Microsoft Excel • Minimum of 5 years experience of APS, BOM maintenance in high-volume electronic manufacturing • APICS certification is a plus • You must be able to travel to the US and Asia on a quarterly basis. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is a world leader in the design, development and manufacturing of products used in mobile wireless devices. They are currently experience exponential growth, and as a result, now require the services of an accomplished Master Scheduler / Production Planner. The Master Scheduler will be responsible to create the master schedule for the overall supply chain and will highlight issues, provide decision support and drive resolution for management and with external organizations. S/He will be responsible to provide closed loop analysis of demand request with supply commits, and will ensure that supplier commits are in place to support aggregate supply volume.
