Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. ![]() We have an immediate opening for an Operation Supervisor. This role is directly responsible for the assigned Operation Team and the Associates assigned within for overall efficient and safe operation while keeping a focus on quality. Key Accountabilities The successful candidate will demonstrate a desire to lead and manage a team; as well as have an interest in their own professional development. He or she will be responsible for a multitude of functions which will include: • Conduct start-up shift team meetings; • Allocate manpower in accordance to total volumes; • Must constantly monitor/screen facility to ensure cleanliness and integrity of product; • Ensure that facility is maintained clean and in an orderly fashion; • Ensure that product damage is kept to a minimum; • Monitor associates productivity and overall performance efficiency; • Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe manner; • Ensure that all associates are trained & certified on all operational tasks; • Monitor that associate's are following the set standard operating procedures at all times; • Follow proper counseling steps according to policy while issuing discipline; • Relay daily operational performance to Operations Manager; • Support the business in meeting business goals, leveraging opportunities, and establishing processes and procedures in a cooperative and collaborative manner; and • Participate in project-based initiatives including reviewing and revising Site policies and procedures as required. Job Requirements: Qualifications • Minimum 2 years logistics management experience • Able to understand and work with a variety of computer programs • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills • Independent thinking and the ability to predict impact of decisions • Knowledge of Health & Safety, and Labour regulations • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Post-secondary education is an asset |
