    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    • University Degree or College Diploma with an Engineering Degree
    • 5 years Canadian experience in plant/operations management
    • Must have experience in manufacturing and metal stamping/sheet metal industry
    • Knowledge of Lean & Kaizen
    • Work experience within a unionized environment is required
    • Proven leadership, organizational skill and effective communications (written & oral)
    • Technical computer skills
    • Ability to work within tight time constraints.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our well positioned manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Plant Manufacturing Manager who shall be fully responsible for the leadership and daily management of the unionized manufacturing facility. This role has a large number of direct reports and works closely with all engineering and occupational health specialist to improve the process flow and increase production efficiency.

    SALARY RANGE: Excellent Base Salary, Benefits Package and assistance with relocation.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years Canadian plant/operations and staff management experience within the metal stamping / sheet metal industry.

    EDUCATION: University Degree or Diploma and Engineering Degree.
