| Job Description: This position is for local residents only. Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. Phoenix International Freight Services, Ltd., is the largest privately owned full-service international freight forwarder, consolidator, NVOCC and Customs broker headquartered in the United States. We are seeking a Breakbulk Import Agent for our Detroit, MI office. As Breakbulk Import Agent you will be responsible for: * Processing ocean and air import shipments * Tracking shipments with carriers * Providing arrival notices to the brokerage department * Invoicing and updating shipment information through our AS400 Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * At least 2- 5 years experience in import operations * Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) * Outgoing personality with a positive attitude * Willingness to learn * Creative problem solver who wants to grow in the department * Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) * AS400 experience is preferred but not required We also offer a fast paced, growth environment with competitive compensation and benefits.
