    POSITION TITLE: SOLID STATE MICROWAVE DESIGN ENGINEER

    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have:
    • At least 5 years experience designing solid state millimetre wave and microwave power amplifiers using discrete components and MMICs
    • Experience in RF board design and System level design
    • Familiarity with common RF circuits (filters, mixers, up-converters, etc.)
    • Experience in assembly, tuning, testing, and packaging techniques
    • Experience at power levels between 25 and 200W
    • Experience in system analysis and calculation
    • Experience and using modern RF optimization software and EM analysis (ADS, Eagleware, Ansys)
    • Experience using modern CAD tools (Solid Works, AutoCAD, etc.)

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is a long-established international company manufacturing and marketing sophisticated electronic products worldwide. As a result of their continued success in the market they currently need a Senior Solid State Design Engineer to join their MMIC design team. The successful applicant will use modern design simulation tools and collaborate with suppliers and customers in order to design, develop, and establish product capability on a range of high power solid state microwave and millimetre devices including power amplifiers and block up-converters.

    SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree mandatory
