Our ideal teammate- We are looking for Route Development Europe, with extensive sales and business development and agency relationship experience. The position will be located on the East Coast, preferably Vermont. The position will have primary responsibility for the retention and recruitment of foreign agents throughout Europe, and will act as point person in ensuring that the corporation has a growing transportation sales plan on routes between Europe and North America. The position is also responsible for direct sales and national sales. Deringer's ideal Route Development candidate will be qualified in the following areas: • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics or International Trade and Commerce; or extensive on-the-job training and experience combined with extensive and up-to-date internal and/or external job pertinent continuing education. • Five to ten years of sales experience. • Three to five years of meaningful industry related work. • Ability to travel throughout Europe; the amount of travel each year likely will exceed 130 overnight stays. • Excellent interaction, writing and presentation skills. • Thorough knowledge of all A. N. Deringer services and systems. • Bilingual - dependant on route development area. • Willing to sign our standard non-compete agreement.
