Job Description:
We have an outstanding career opportunity at our newly centralized, 24/7 state-of-the-art Customs Brokerage Processing Center in Columbia, South Carolina for a Duty Finalization & Station Operations Manager. Relocation is available.

Responsibilities for this role include:
• Accountable and responsible for all activities related to the duty finalization, CBP statement submission, balance of entry summary/billing/statement/payment activities and station operation functions
• Ensuring timely payment of duties on DGF or IOR statement and non statement activities
• Responsible for tracking and closure of all activities performed under their management Accountable and responsible to all station support functions including but not limited to GET, COIN administration, payroll, miscellaneous reports, supplies, miscellaneous vendor management, DDU/DDP Accounting and Summary Invoicing

Skills Required:
• Strong accounting background
• Expert MS Office suite skills
• Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage large staff at multiple levels of development and wide range of activities
• Must have extensive knowledge in the areas related to the compliant duty payment to US Customs in order to minimize late entry penalties and no file penalties
• Strong analytical skills to identify transactions outside of compliance
• Typically requires BS/BA and 6-8 years experience in related field, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Professional certification required in some areas
