| Job Description: Logistics/Inventory Analyst Importer seeking a strong candidate for this fast-paced analyst position. Experience required in the following areas: • Inventory analysis to include sales trends, margin performance, etc. to assist management with product life cycle decisions as well as to create orders for new product • Evaluate product cost structures and provide pricing recommendations for sales opportunities • Liaison with national retail customers to monitor sales trends and recommend internal actions based on the item's retail performance • Liaison with customers and internal staff to plan container shipments and manage importation of goods • Knowledge of US Customs importation regulations and other matters relating to the importation of goods for retail sale • Tracking and follow up of goods en route from overseas ports • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with logistics and importation.
