Job Description: We have an outstanding career opportunity at our newly centralized, 24/7 state-of-the-art Customs Brokerage Processing Center in Columbia, South Carolina for a Post Entry & Technical Services Supervisor. Relocation assistance is available. Responsibilities for this role includes: • Formulating and executing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Oversee the review and interpretation of new and pending laws and regulations • Communicate compliance changes to impacted areas of the organization • Prepare and provide regulatory compliance reports to management • Establish compliance metrics for improvement of compliance and reduction in agency penalties/violations • Identify major areas of exposure to regulatory sanctions and make corrective action recommendations to senior management • Maintain a proactive and positive relationship with all internal and external customers • Provide leadership, guidence and training to employees Job Requirements: Skills Required: • 2-4 years of related experience, preferrably in the field of Customs Brokerage • Extensive depth of knowledge in Customs Brokerage regulations • Verbal and written skills • Working knowledge in MS Word and Excel • Ability to work well under pressure • Strong leadership, motiviational, and interpersonal skills • BS/BA degree desireable |
