Job Summary:

The Inventory Analyst applies and utilizes inventory management principles in order to maintain accurate records regarding physical inventory levels. In addition, the incumbent utilizes cycle counts and raw audits in order to identify and correct inventory system errors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs weekly cycle counts and makes necessary system adjustments
  • Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
  • Performs daily activities, which are necessary in order to maintain effective inventory records
  • Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics
  • Communicates with the customers and Kuehne Nagel personnel regarding inventory issues
  • Assist the management staff in planning and organizing inventory levels in new stockrooms
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
  • Completes special projects and assists other employees as needed


Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years of warehouse experience
  • Ability to communicate - written and verbal
  • Ability to establish priorities and to function in a multi-tasked environment
  • Possess professional business demeanor
  • Knowledge of the following Microsoft software applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use warehouse and inventory programs - (ie.: GPSM, COT, WHMS, RSV, PMS, SAP, CIEL)
