| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, LONDON JOB CATEGORY: SALES / MARKETING INDUSTRY: FREIGHT FORWARDING LOCATION: LONDON, ONTARIO DATE: OCTOBER 14, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195967 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have: • 2 plus years of Freight Forwarding sales experience. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Our client is an international Freight Forwarding organization with physical representation in over 100 countries and annual revenues in the billions of dollars. They have a wide breadth of services that include air, ocean, ground, transborder, special projects, customs and much more. They have a strong client base, a long history of success, a solid balance sheet, and an impressive IT infrastructure. At this exciting point they are poised for explosive growth in the South Western Ontario market and need a visionary Business Development Guru to drive their success to monumental heights; someone who has a specialty in selling complete Freight Forwarding solutions. The London branch has a solid history of exceeding targets and delivering remarkable service. The right candidate will take great pride in coaxing this well oiled machine to even higher levels of success. We are looking for a strong business development specialist who is capable of successfully promoting the full gamut of freight forwarding services. This position requires you to be in the London office, at most, once per week and thus you can live anywhere from Mississauga to Sarnia to Windsor. We welcome all qualified applicants from locations such as: Chatham, Windsor, Sarnia, Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, St. Catherines, St.Thomas, Woodstock, Welland, Stratford, Etc. You must be an expert in Freight Forwarding; a really strong business development specialist who is capable of successfully promoting the wide breadth of services offered: air, ocean, transborder, special projects, customs, international, domestic, import, export and much more. Due to the location of the office, near the U.S. / Canada border there will a greater focus on transborder and customs business than other offices. Your territory will be Southern Ontario, which roughly includes all locations West of Hamilton. As a true driving force behind the development of new business you have an outgoing personality, are able to work in a team, are self motivated, aggressively pursue targets, and can work the modern tools for sales success such as MS office and CRM software.
