| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: NATIONAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, YYZ JOB CATEGORY: SALES / MARKETING INDUSTRY: FREIGHT FORWARDING LOCATION: MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO DATE: OCTOBER 14, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195966 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have: • 5 years selling Freight Forwarding Service at the National Account / Key Account Level. • Demonstrated high levels of sales success targeting Fortune 500 organizations. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is an international freight forwarder with physical representation in over 100 countries and annual revenues that exceed $1 billion. They have a wide breadth of services that include air, ocean, transborder, special projects, customs and much more. They have a strong client base, a long history of success, a solid balance sheet, and an impressive IT infrastructure. The tremendous resources that they can bring to bear worldwide has allowed them to secure a number of very large substantial clients to whom they provide a complete and total logistical solution. Wishing to build on this success domestically our client would like to add a competent and seasoned National Key Account Manager to their team here in Canada. The successful candidate can be domiciled in any of the major cities within Canada. This person will target the top 50 named accounts nationally! The goal is to bring additional Fortune 500 organizations into the fold. You will be empowered to promote the entire breadth of services offered: air, ocean, transborder, special projects, customs, international, domestic, import, export and much more. Associated with a long, complicated and sophisticated sales process/cycle the National Account role is not for the feint of heart.
