Location Boston, MA Attributes Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for the transition and delivery of all software changes from the product development process to the customer Coordinate the manufacturing of software for distribution to customers. Coordinate archiving of source code to the escrow agent Facilitate the creation of the cross functional launch plan with the product development stakeholders and manage the plan to successful conclusion Engage manufacturing vendors and act as liaison to vendors for the reproduction of the company's products Own the product escrow process and insure proper collection, formatting, and delivery of all source code and documentation artifacts to the company's legal agent for transfer to the escrow agent Required Skills Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years of release management or project management experience participating and leading projects for either an internal application development organization or software product organization within a cross functional environment Must have experience leading projects in a matrix organization, creating Project Plans, Project Schedules, Project Reports and associated project materials Understanding of the software development lifecycle Understanding of industry standard software configuration management practices |
