| Job Description: Reporting to the Operations Manager a global leader and best-in-class technology provider for specialists treating a wide range of vascular diseases and disorders that is committed to the peripheral vascular and neurovascular markets offering a comprehensive portfolio of treatment options, including the primary interventional technologies used today. Responsible for developing advanced manufacturing methods, systems and processes to produce the highest quality product packaging at the lowest cost. Supports product development programs of significant scope and complexity to ensure company policies are followed, the team's goals are met and the packaging designs are ready to be manufactured. Will analyzes current packaging manufacturing technologies and develops new processes, systems and production methods to achieve corporate objectives. Challenge is to work in a fast pace, customer driven environment while maintaining accuracy and continuing to grow the company's competitiveness in the market place. Job Requirements: Background Required: • Medical Device Manufacturing Industry (4 years) • Packaging a variety of product lines (i.e. pouches, sealing, trays, corrugated) • Complete project experience (product design, manufacturing to distribution) • In-depth knowledge of FDA and Regulatory regulations • ISO 13485 compliance • Travel: 15% Domestic travel • Computer Programs: CAD (Solid Works & AutoCAD) and statistical software • Education: Bachelor of Science Engineering • Location: Minneapolis, MN (relocation assistance) Background Preferred (but not required): • QSR (Quality Systems Regulations) and MDD (Model Device Driver) regulations • Society of Manufacturing Engineers Membership • Six Sigma: Green or Black Belt • Disposable Medical Device • Computer Programs: Access • Education: MS, PHD or MBA Other Essential Abilities and Skills: • Results driven • Strategic Thinker • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving skills • Adapt to rapidly changing environment • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal, written, presentation) |
