Job Summary: The Financial Manager provides accounting and financial support to the General Manager. The incumbent is responsible for developing and preparing financial and business related analysis and research. The incumbent provides professional-level financial accounting and analysis which involve the application of established accounting principles, theories, and concepts to carry out daily operations. The incumbent uses computer and specialized software programs to compile, compute, and prepare reports, graphs, and charts of data.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administers and audits all distribution level expenses.
  • Audits and processes all payables in compliance with division standards.
  • Audits, codes, processes and tracks vendor and associate expenses for payment and maintains expense tracking required for month-end audits.
  • Conducts month-end financial closing at facility level, including labor expense projections, revenue/expense reconciliation against the general ledge, journal entries and moth-end estimates to the General Manager.
  • Provides procurement and vendor management support at the distribution center level, including identifying cost-containment opportunities.
  • Budget development, tracking and analyzing
  • Ensures accurate on-time billing to customer to include labor reporting and hours allocation through activity code level, based on budget/billing templates, fixed- cost billing and related tracking of actual results and managing corporate and distribution center level inquiries.
  • Prepares and publishes all distribution center level financial reports, including forecasts, estimates, ramps, facility-level profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, weekly variance reports and other operations or finance reporting, as required.
  • Prepares financial projects for facility, divisional and corporate accounting as assigned.
  • Assists with preparation of Investment Applications for capital expenditures.
  • Tracks facility expenses, productivity and Profit and Loss against the GCT.


Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years relevant experience
  • Accounting degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
