    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    • University Degree in Finance/Business
    • Accounting Designation; CGA or CMA
    • 3 - 5 years experience in accounting and financial analysis
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, VLookup & Macros
    • Excellent communication skills (oral, written & presentation).

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client requires an intermediate Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The main responsibilities within this municipally owned and unionized organization includes preparation of annual filings, validation of statements, analysis and reconciliation of variance accounts preparing and maintaining service cost studies. The role will also perform other accounting duties as assigned.

    SALARY RANGE: $55K - $60K, plus benefits, pension plan and professional development.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Accounting Designation; CGA or CMA
    • 3-5 years experience in accounting and financial analysis.

    EDUCATION: University Degree in Finance/Business
