    POSITION TITLE: QUALITY MANAGER

    • 2-5 years Quality Management experience in the Food industry.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is a long established company in the food industry. They are in need of a Quality Manager with exceptional skills which are as follows:

    • Strong Leadership and Management skills.
    • Create, modify and update Product Formulations.
    • Ensure Environmental testing is completed.
    • Manage the Sanitation personnel.
    • Maintain and modify HACCP Plans and Pre-Requisite Program.
    • Perform GMP training, monitor GMP's of plant employees and management.
    • Perform various plant audits to support HACCP Plans and Pre-Requisite Program.
    • Supervise QA Technicians and ensure CCP's and Finished Product Quality testing is completed.
    • Sample products for microbiological and chemical testing on various fresh and finished products.
    • Preparation of Label Declarations, Nutritional Information, and Government Label Approvals.
    • Perform audits to support HACCP program.
    • Clearly communicate/address quality issues with Plant Manager, Suppliers and President.
    • Responsible for Health & Safety Audits & Training.
    • Ensure plant employees and Plant Manager are following proper SOP's and GMP's.
    • Liase with Agriculture Canada Inspectors.

    SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000

    EDUCATION: BSc. Food Science or Equivalent
