    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have:
    • High School Diploma.
    • Minimum of 5 years Experience in Transportation / Logistics.
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of Sales Experience in Transborder Sales.
    • Good understanding of the North American transportation industry including highway (domestic and cross boarder), experience in an LTL / TL environment.
    • An ability to work independently, be highly motivated and be a relationship builder.

    CLIENT PROFILE:

    Our client is a privately owned Logistics company with the core of their business focused on North American Trucking. They offer asset based transportation with a large, dedicated fleet, powered by owner operators. Their core focus is primarily North America LTL and TL. They handle both dry goods and perishable products, and provide Distribution requirements from the USA to Canada. They have recently moved into a state of the art facility that will allow them to grow the business and meet the changing needs of the customer base. They are a very successful company who practice the philosophy of steady growth and selective business that has allowed them to stay very well positioned through this economic turmoil.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The primary role of the Account Executive is to increase the Transborder market share through the solicitation and capture of new accounts and through expansion of revenue of existing clients. Based out of the newly opened facility in Milton, you will be responsible for finding and closing new opportunities, cold calling and managing business relationships. Although not totally defined, the geographic sales are will encompass Brampton, West to Guelph. You bring a reputation as a heavy hitter , and are confident in your ability to sell in this market and you will reap the benefits!

    SALARY RANGE:
    • $50,000 - $60,000 (based on experience)
    • Attractive Commission Structure (based on top line sales).

    EDUCATION:
    • High School Diploma.
    • College Diploma / University Degree in business or related discipline are an asset.
