| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: TAX MANAGER JOB CATEGORY: FINANCE / ACCOUNTING INDUSTRY: DISTRIBUTION / WAREHOUSING / MANUFACTURING LOCATION: HAMILTON, ONTARIO DATE: JULY 7, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195848 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have: • University Degree, with a Canadian Accounting Designation (CA, CMA or CGA) • CICA In-Depth Tax, or equivalent is preferred • 4 years related experience in a tax management/supervisory role • Experience in treasury, risk management, risk policy development, claims processing and credit risk management • Working knowledge of SOX (Bill 198) • Strong leadership and mentoring skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment • Technical skills in ERP systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel & Access) • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is a reputable Canadian corporation who is seeking a qualified Tax Manager with solid leadership skills to manage all of the company's tax, treasury and risk management activities within the finance department. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the role shall be primarily responsible for providing cash flow management, credit facilities management, insurance and support for credit/collection policies for the corporation's multi-business units.
