    • A minimum of 10 years overseeing larger ICI construction projects ($20million )
    • P. Eng (highly advantageous), University Degree mandatory
    • LEED project experience beneficial.

    Our client, a well-established and growing Ottawa-based general contractor specializing in medium to large ICI construction projects has an immediate opening for a Senior Project/Construction Manager overseeing a residential condo development.

    Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working with the Senior Site Superintendent you will manage all aspects of this Design/Build condo development.

    Your specific responsibilities will include:
    • Creating the construction budget along with the Estimating team
    • Sourcing materials vendors and sub-trades personnel
    • Negotiating and awarding contracts and purchase orders
    • Communicating with the owner/client, architects, and engineers throughout the various stages of the project.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will possess the following:
    • A minimum of 10 years experience overseeing large ICI projects ($20-$40million)
    • LEED project management experience a strong asset
    • P. Eng or equivalent education preferred, University Degree mandatory
    • The ability to read blueprints, working knowledge of estimating, and budget preparation
    • Strong customer service and project-management skills
    • Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety legislation, WSIB, and MOL as well as the Ontario Building Code.
