| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: TECHNICAL ADVISOR, CITY MULTI VRF PRODUCTS JOB CATEGORY: SALES / MARKETING INDUSTRY: HVAC LOCATION: MARKHAM, ONTARIO DATE: FEBRUARY 12, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195653 * CANDIDATES THAT APPLY DIRECT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED * EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have: • 5 years experience in installation, commissioning and service of VRF equipment • 5 years experience on Mitsubishi Electric City Multi • 3 years experience in training of Contractors and Engineers on City Multi VRF selection. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client has 80 years of experience in providing reliable, high-quality products to both corporate clients and general consumers all over the world. They are a recognized world leader in the manufacture, marketing and sales of air conditioning and heating systems, energy recovery and fresh air ventilators. They are in immediate need of an accomplished Technical Advisor, City Multi VRF Products, to handle the Markham, ON and surrounding areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with Clients and Engineers to select and design City Multi VRF systems for Canadian applications to fit cooling and heating requirements • Work with Clients to select and find control solutions to best match the application in consideration • Troubleshoot and repair problems during and after VRF system installation • Set up and conduct training courses on City Multi VRF equipment to our distribution and contracting clients SALARY RANGE: A very competitive remuneration package QUALIFICATIONS: • Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technician, or HVAC Technician or Mechanic • Psychometric system analysis and selection • Mollier diagram analysis of refrigeration cycles • Strong City Multi Variable Refrigeration Flow system operating analysis and fault finding capability • Strong knowledge of variable speed compressors and control systems for such • Strong knowledge of City Multi VRF M-Net network or similar VRF controls and integration EDUCATION: • Degree in Engineering / Diploma or Trade Certificate EMPLOYEE TYPE: Permanent REQUIRED TRAVEL: Yes RELOCATION COVERED: Yes MANAGES OTHERS: No |
