| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER JOB CATEGORY: SALES / MARKETING INDUSTRY: HVAC LOCATION: MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO DATE: JUNE 30, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195839 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have: • 5-10 years experience in Business Development in B2B business environment. • 5 years experience in Technical Sales, selling experience within the Renewable Energy, Residential or Commercial Building industry is preferred. • Experience in Multi Million Dollar Contract negotiations. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is new to the industry in providing reliable, high-quality products to both corporate clients and general consumers all over the world. They are a recognized world leader in the manufacture, marketing and sales of Solar/Photovoltaic product lines. Reporting to the General Manager; the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and markets, developing and sustaining long-term prospect relationships, developing and implementing sales and marketing plans, objectives, budgets and programs in alignment with the company's vision, mission and strategy in Canada. Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following: • Collect and analyze market data of solar products, including but not limited to competitive information, end user trend, safety, regulatory, regulations and legislations, available incentive programs and other alternative energy products or technologies, by means of contacting customers, end users, industry associations, government body and research companies. • Generate product strategy, sales strategy, pricing policy, channel strategy and promotional programs. • Liaise with the factory and customers for all product related issues. • Produce monthly activity report and other reports as required. • Plan and execute promotional activities including media ad, rebate, exhibition, co-op ad with customers and produce promotional tools. SALARY RANGE: A very competitive remunerations package. EDUCATION: Technical or Renewable Energy, or similar industry background or Degree is preferred.
