Our client wishes to secure their position in Canada as a dominant player in the Air Freight marketplace servicing the Asia-Pacific Trade lane by adding an extremely talented National Air Freight Trade Lane Manager, Asia-Pacific to their exciting and dynamic team. This initiative has complete Senior Executive and Board Room level support and, as a result, the successful candidate will be provided with all the tools and resources required to ensure success. This is a Senior Product Manager's role and reports directly into the Vice-President of Air Freight. You will be responsible for developing the Airfreight product as it pertains to the Asia-Pacific Trade Lane, honing the current service offering and devising new airfreight services to better service potential growth industries. You will ensure that this very important geographical region is supported in the manner best suited to the unique characteristics of the marketplace and will be empowered to make subsequent changes as necessary. You will be responsible for creating, and maintaining relationships with carriers, including the negotiation of rates and service level agreements. You will be responsible for training the existing sales force on the intricacies of selling air freight to and from the Asia-Pacific and will assist personally with RFQ's, RFP's and presentations to clients with significant airfreight volume potential.
