Responsible for the coordination and prioritization of the development and implementation of automated IT customer solutions. Oversee the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation, unit and system testing and development when appropriate. Provide both management and technical leadership. Utilize project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progress techniques. Bridge business groups to assure cost effectiveness, productivity, return on investment and customer satisfaction. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): • Support major IT projects and initiatives to ensure solutions match business needs • Centralize EDI, reporting, and departmental controls within Sales Planning and Support • Act as single point of contact to allow for seamless sales support, consultation, and project prioritization • Institute more robust project approval process and procedure for sales initiated IT requests • Participate in sales calls and partner with customers to enhance relationship • Facilitate improvements to standards allowing for the fulfillment of more requests by standard and minimizing the dedication of resources to the one-off solutions. Participate and co-author strategies related to customer automation • Develop web solutions to promote awareness of reporting and IT capabilities • Develop, implement and maintain oversight of IT filtering process which validates soundness of sales IT requests • Participate in inter company departmental meetings to consult and provide suggestions and direction in technology solutions • Create, implement and maintain CMS vendor strategy and partnerships Job Requirements: Essential Functions: Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
