    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    • University or Community College Degree in Computer Science or Business.
    • Five or more years as a Systems/Programmer responsible for IBM VSE/ESA installation and systems tuning.
    • Experience with the installation, maintenance and upgrades of z/VM and z/VSE products, including IBM software, CA software and other 3rd party vendors.
    • Extensive CICS tuning and table maintenance experience.
    • Experience providing system level support for application developers.
    • Experience implementing Source Code Management system.
    • Excellent English communications skills.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is a fifty year old, international marketer and distributor of supplies and materials found in every major office and manufacturing facility in world. With over 100 office and warehouse locations of their own in North America, they are a vibrant organization with a strong future ahead of them. They are currently seeking an experienced VM/VSE Systems Programmer for their Mississauga mainframe datacenter to maintain and tune all systems software for maximum operating efficiency. Occasional travel to the company's location in the North-Eastern United States will be required.

    SALARY RANGE: $75K - $90K base plus incentives!

    EDUCATION: College Diploma or equivalent technical training.

    EMPLOYEE TYPE: Permanent
