| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: INSIDE SALES - TORONTO JOB CATEGORY: SALES / MARKETING INDUSTRY: BROKERAGE FREIGHT FORWARDING LOCATION: MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO DATE: MAY 11, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195776 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have: • Minimum of 2 years experience in Freight Sales (LTL / TL / Transborder / Domestic) • A history of success in closing new business • Knowledge of Operations and Freight Flow • Demonstrated skill sets in Cold Calling and Managing Multiple Accounts. POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a tenured sales rep all you really want is a strong product that you can sell; a product which you can truly believe in and a product which you can bring your clients to believe in as well. Of course, as a result of selling this "strong product" you would like to realize a fair rate of remuneration and hopefully some recognition as well. As a true driving force behind the development of new business you have an outgoing personality, are able to work in a team, are self motivated, and aggressively pursue targets. My client recognizes these basic needs of the experienced sales person and has spent many years working towards addressing them in kind. A Fair Rate of Remuneration: In order to fuel this growth they are looking to add experienced Inside Sales representative to their exclusive team. In order to attract the best and most confident candidates they are prepared to offer a very lucrative compensation package which includes both base and commission. They are able to offer this exciting package because of two very important factors; firstly, they have evolved into an incredibly efficient operational unit which has driven down transactional costs, and secondly, management has a realistic vision for corporate profits and believes profitability should be shared generously amongst those which make it happen. This organization started as a Freight Brokerage and has, over the years, added 3PL functionality. They offer transportation/distribution management solutions throughout Canada and North America, operating an extensive array of facilities in both countries. Cross-border transportation management is a true staple, as is domestic U.S. transportation management. You will be called upon to primarily sell the U.S. domestic freight management service offering, and as a result, prior experience selling same is a definite asset. SALARY RANGE: Competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
