Plan and implement a sales strategy Identify market opportunities to secure new business Developing new business (sales, cold calls, telephone soliciting) Negotiating carrier rates (Full Truck Load, LTL, Air Freight) Presenting rate quotes to shippers Identifying relevant and specific operational requirements Providing shipping details to carriers in order to guarantee service success Achieve revenue targets Continuously maintain a current understanding of the marketplace and competition facing the organization NOTE: Positions are available in all major Canadian centres including Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver. Job Requirements: Sales experience within the Brokerage industry Well connected in the market Self starter and driven to succeed Energetic and have a strong knowledge of creating new business Computer literate - Word, Excel, Internet Customer service oriented |
