Job Description: Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. We are currently looking for exceptional sales performers with expertise in selling Freight Forwarding Services. Successful candidates are mid to senior level executives with a proven sales background in Air and Ocean Imports and Exports. Ideal candidates are skilled in prospecting new business and are described as independent, self-motivated, and successful. Freight Forwarding Sales Executive excel in managing accounts, providing cost effective solutions for their clients and thrive in a fast paced working atmosphere. They must conduct themselves with professionalism at all times and display enthusiasm and integrity when building relationships with previous, current and future clients, executives and co-workers. NOTE: Positions are available in all major Canadian centres including Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop new accounts and maintain existing customer relationships Follow up on sales leads and cold call potential customers Achieve sales targets and objectives Determine customer needs Negotiate rates Work cohesively with the other members of the sales team Ensure customer satisfaction levels remain at a high level Keep current on industry trends and the competition Any other duties deemed necessary for the benefit of the company Job Requirements: Proven sales ability Minimum 2 years Freight Forwarding Sales experience Excellent prospecting and cold calling experience Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure Advanced planning and organizational skills Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral Professional presentation skills Ability to work effectively in team environment Strong time management and negotiation skills |
