 Job Description:
The Facility / Warehouse Manager will manage once specific location. Activities include assisting with shipping, receiving, put-away, picking, rework, inventory control, yard management, customer service, facility security and maintenance. Assure prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods inventory and raw materials while providing outstanding customer service. Responsible for providing a safe, productive, and cost effective working environment for 200 colleagues. Develop, control and manage a $10 million facilities budget. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local codes and regulations.
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Allocate necessary space for FIFO stock rotation.
- Actively manage the local transportation of carriers and inventory control.
- Interface and solve problems with multiple external logistics groups.
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
- Secure company assets.
- Manage within labor and budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA.
- Conduct annual performance reviews with warehouse supervision
- Administer counseling and developmental sessions with colleagues
- Maintain a positive work environment with work force and customers
- Organize miscellaneous projects
- Ensures all related SOX controls are implemented, reviewed, functional and compliant.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine appropriate staffing strategies and develop cost effective, pro-active, dedicated teams.
- Develop staffing strategies based on in-house/outsourced value, and benefits/costs ratios. Provide leadership and manage the selection, assignment, evaluation and training of direct reports to enhance and develop productivity and skill sets. Focus and support the individual's established personal objectives and priorities that accomplish the goals of the department and corporation. Develop and monitor an individual's developmental plan with specific, measurable, achievable and realistic goals aligned with leadership imperatives. Create relationships with outsourced service providers that ensure cost control, service level, work load fluctuations, loyalty, and business culture.
- Develop and manage capital, operating and project budgets.
- Overall responsibility for developing, monitoring and operating within capital, operating, and project budgets. Analyze past and current budget data and drive continuous operational efficiencies, standardizations, and process improvements to maximize bottom line value.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, FMA or CFM designation preferred.
- Previous Work Experience: 10 years or more of progressive experience managing a food and beverages warehouse with demonstrated improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Must have successfully managed four direct reports and a departmental team in excess of 40 colleagues and vendors
- Experience with 3PL's is a plus
