| Job Description: This position is for local residents only. Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. The Fleet Manager contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group-s success by overseeing the regular and preventative maintenance of 935 pieces of fleet equipment in order to fulfill customer needs. This person manages 25 skilled employees in 11 unionized/non-unionized locations with an annual budget of $12.0MM. Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: - Demonstrates knowledge and train others in troubleshooting, repair procedures and preventative maintenance for fleet equipment - Ensures equipment and individual compliance with all environmental, Department Of Transportation (DOT) and Health and Safety regulations - Sets financial and individual targets aligned with Annual Operating Plan objectives and Fleet standards - Manages performance standards to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, safety and Fleet performance standards - Communicates effectively with other operations groups in support of overall plant goals - Achieves or exceeds target results related to cost, asset preservation, breakdown, preventative maintenance and vehicle availability - Develops team for fleet self sufficiency Job Requirements: Basic Job Qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years fleet maintenance experience - A minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience Preferred Job Qualifications: - Experience in consumer packaged products or similar industry - Bachelors degree - At least 5 years of supervisory experience - CDL License (Class A) - Affiliation with a State or National Fleet or Transportation organization i.e. American Trucking Association, Technology and Maintenance Council, National Private Truck Council ect |
