Job Description: • Lead and manage all of NVO division such as Sales unit. • Present and sell HJL services to current and potential NVO customers. • Work with local sales representatives to complete sales and business development duties to actively increase revenue and profit. • Prepare action plans and timelines on specific customers and to project the plan to monitor successful market penetration with assigned accounts. • Coordinate and prepare customer presentations, requests for pricing, proposals and effectuate sales contracts. • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Job Requirements: Twenty years of ocean transportation experience with CURRENT NVO sales management experience is required. Must be an exceptional salesperson and respected manager with an impeccable reputation in the transportation industry. Must have experience mentoring and developing a sales staff, excellent problem-solving skills and be able to proactively market the company's product offerings and identify opportunities for growth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create professional proposals and other written materials are a must. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales General Manager will be responsible for managing the company's national sales team (located in various U.S. cities) and for developing new business for the NVO group. |
