Job Description:

As a Vending Technician, you will repair and maintain various vending equipment at customers' location or company repaid shop. Perform all functions of placement and pickups of vending machines/coolers. Responsible for safe operation, repair of assigned company equipment.

Provide technical support to customers on various vending equipment as follows:



  • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

  • Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

  • Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections then repair or replace.

  • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

  • Install special functional and structural parts in devices.

  • Lubricate and clean parts.

  • Start up and operate devices to test their performance.

  • Refurbish new and used equipment in service shop.

  • Assure safe operation of assigned vehicle by completing vehicle safety check daily, and/or completing repair order the same day a problem is detected to avoid unnecessary repair cost and comply with state and federal regulations.

  • Maintain cab and cargo area of truck in a neat and clean manner at all times.

  • Secure and maintain specialized company tools and equipment.

  • Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.



Job Requirements:

  1. Must possess and maintain a valid driver' s license with a good driving record.

  2. EPA certification.

  3. The individual should have strong verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills.

  4. Must have technical/repair skills and personal leadership skills.

  5. Ability to work effectively with the general public.

  6. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to all customers and employees.

  7. Must be detailed oriented and thorough.

  8. Self-management, initiative and individual judgment is expected.

  9. This is a physically demanding position with employees working out of the office.

  10. The employee is constantly bending and reaching and must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 40 pounds.

  11. The position requires the use of equipment with relatively simple operating procedures.
