Major Position Responsibilities: Manage account activities for customer for whom freight is moved from offshore locations to offshore locations and the financial transaction (billing to the customer) takes place in the US Monitor the shipment activity and process incoming invoices from overseas, this includes audit of the incoming invoices from overseas and verification of other customer specific requirements for back up documentation, etc. and generate freight bill to the customer in the US Manage business requirement documents such as SOPs, tariffs, contracts and other related documents that govern the customer agreement Research and manage discrepancies for received invoices Carry out route cause analysis and provide supporting data and documents for corrective actions Keep contact with account owners and update them on a regular basis of reoccurring issues that need to be addressed on an account management level to service the customers according to the customer requirements and agreements Analyze customer development, trends and forecast Recommend and deliver process improvements Job Requirements: Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required for Position: This is a specialist level position. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independent with a high level of accuracy and detail oriented are required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with standard MSOffice suite required. Experience with SAP and ProCars preferred. Generally prefer 5 years of similar experience.
