Job Description:

General Summary

The Director of Customer Service and Logistics will reside on the NAFS Supply Chain Leadership Team. The role will be responsible for leading NAFS distribution networks, achieving logistics KPI's, managing FG deployment, driving out distribution costs and working capital, leading Customer Service and Logistics enabler initiatives, fast-adapting best practices, developing in conjunction with NAFS Sales and external customers service solutions and providing strategic and tactical direction for distribution and logistics operations. Best practice sharing and developing efficient and effective work processes with Campbell's global supply chain teams.



Principal Accountabilities

1. 40% - Leading and managing logistics and distribution initiatives.

2. 20% - Developing logistics and service solution strategies.

3. 25% - Development and delivering of KPI's and cost targets.

4. 15% - External customer development - Working with customers to build supply chain and logistics initiatives and savings.



Job Complexity

* Responsible for transforming three unique distribution systems frozen, refrigerated and dry into world class systems.

* Responsible for working with sales and customers to deploy differentiated and best practices in the Food Service industry.

* Responsible for implementing logistics and customer solutions to drive cost reduction and improved service levels.
Job Specifications

* Minimum education required: BA/ BS in Logistics.

* Education desired: MBA & logistics certifications.

* Years of relevant experience: 15 years experience in logistics, transportation; 5 years at a leadership level, leading teams and initiatives.



  • Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    * Solid background in logistics, transportation and supply chain practices.

    * Proven experience in project management.

    * Logistics and transportation optimization modeling.

    * Third party distribution experience.

    * Business acumen to understand customer needs, financial statements, product costs.

    * Relationship management with Customers, Sales and internal supply chain operations.

    * Analytic and strategic capability to solve complex network and service solutions.
