The candidate must have experience in a warehouse or plant location in a unionized environment. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for a broad range of functions within the HR Department and will act as the dedicated support person for the local Distribution Center. Key Responsibilities - Provides counselling and direction to staff on business issues. Contributes to improved performance and ensures policy compliance. Guides managers through performance management issues and corrective action. Identifies developmental needs of employees and recommends appropriate training. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree, required. 3-5 years in a warehouse or distribution center in an HR role. Extensive experience in employee relations and performance management. Previous experience working in a high volume location. Strong communication and motivational abilities. Results driven. Flexible work schedule. Posses proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments. Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. |
