SUMMARY:
We are searching for an experienced and successful NVOCC sales executive, to help us grow our NVOCC business!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position sells company NVOCC services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying services to their needs resulting in profitable revenue generation.
  • Performs the functions of customer service to include initiating and follow-up with customers and carriers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence and reports.
  • Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities; presenting to executive levels of organization and preparing formal proposals; and leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to closure.
  • Contacts current and prospective customers to sell and explain company services available and advantages of dealing with the company.
  • Prepares and presents proposals, quotes and recommends services based on customers needs and sales of appropriate services.
  • Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
  • Creates and maintains computer files and suspense for follow-up action.
  • Provides advisory support and assistance to other department members/department manager as needed.
  • Attends sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, services and other general information of interest to customers.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    Four or more years NVOCC/Ocean Freight Forwarding sales experience is a must! If you do not have this experience, you will not be considered.
    The ideal candidate will have an existing and profitable book of business.
    Must be self-driven, motivated and result oriented!
