    POSITION DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Our client is a medium sized freight forwarding company that offers a full range of services within the 3PL model and with offices in Canada, America and across continental Europe, they are a quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with on the international market.

    We are looking for a strategic and dynamic leader for their customs department. This individual must have a very strong operational background and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and work with their team on the day to day customs issues such as rating shipments and providing customs audits if need be. They must also have the vision and leadership skills to grow and build the division and its ability to serve its clientele. We need a hybrid candidate that can manage a small but growing team both from a personnel stand point as well as P&L, provide subject matter expertise to both internal and external clients and be able to work with the senior leadership team to grow and shape the division through key client development.
