| Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate all activities between the Distribution Center departments • Train, develop, and supervise non-exempt and exempt employees • Maintain the security of all merchandise and capital equipment of the Distribution Center • Promote and maintain high employee morale and safety • Administer company policies and procedures • Plan and implement strategies to effectively process seasonal fluctuations on workload • Evaluate job performance of associates in assigned departments AUTHORITY: • Decisions regarding flow of product throughout the facility • Recommend hiring decisions at exempt and non-exempt levels • Counsel employees as required for performance or attendance issues • Approval of company expenditures within guidelines Job Requirements: • Bachelors' Degree in Business Management or equivalent • Three years previous management experience in a production/processing/retail environment or equivalent • Ability to manage multiple assignments • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and planning skills • Excellent problem solving ability, high sense of urgency • PC skills, including spreadsheet and database experience within Microsoft Office package |
