This position is in our Corporate Headquarters office. Key Accountabilities: 1. Assist ISD Manager in the management of new technology based: A) Internal software development projects B) Customer projects C) Hardware/network/technology projects 2. Develop design and programming standards for software development in .NET and ASP environment and educate ISD team on these technologies. 3. Stay current with latest technology trends to ensure that ISD is using the best methods for eficient, low cost, low risk development. 4. Implement source control and repository process for strong change management 5. Work together with Assistant ISD manager in supporting ISD team on new technology projects. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Microsoft certification in various fields including .NET, .ASP and Visual Studio is strongly desired. Minimum of 15 years of IT development experience of which at least 8 years must be in web or java related development. At least 5 years of IT experience mut be in the LOGISTICS INDUSTRY. The successful candidate should be able to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
