They also offer state of the art web based program for quick tender, tracking, history, communication, etc. They have 15 branch offices throughout the U.S. The incumbent will be based in their Buffalo, NY branch to lead their already existing high performance team to grow by adding Sales/Ops in order to achieve their overall growth goal of $150 additional Revenue within 2 years for entire company. This is one of the larger offices and you must be able to communicate effectively with other branches. Most recent experience must be leading a team of high performers in TL Brokerage either as a Branch Manager or as a coach in your office. Job Description: Responsibilities • Hire, train and ongoing development of associates (both Inside Sales and Carrier Operations) that promotes Company's Core Values, Morals and Ethics • P&L expertise, running branch as if it were your own business. • Customer growth *Develop branch by qualifying leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail, email and overall networking *Maintain high margins and spot rates in a highly volatile and face pace environment • Increase sales numbers with current customer base and increase new accounts to surpass targets and even out seasonality swings • Implement short and long term sales strategy plan for office *Ensure customers receive superior on-time service through processes put in place with team and carrier expectations. • Carrier relationships and growth • Properly manage risk and maintain sensible business integrity in all business decisions. • General knowledge with local, state and federal DOT rules and regulations. Our client will accept candidates outside of the Buffalo region. Job Requirements: Qualifications • Complete P&L expertise (Gross Revenue, margin, operating income) • Market knowledge (Pricing, lanes) • Entrepreneurial mindset • Expert in US Truck Load Brokerage Market's, specifically inbound/outbound East Coast and surrounding regions • Must have experience leading a team of both Sales and Carrier Operations team in a non asset TL setting • 5 years minimum experience in Transportation, 3 years min in TL Brokerage • Computer literate • Bachelor's degree • Ability to create positive, fast pace work environment and have a team that would -walk through walls- for you • Strong verbal and written communication |
