As the General Manager, LCL & LSS Network, you will be responsible for defining, developing and driving the establishment of a competitive underlying network of less-than-container-load and land side service solutions and developing a suite of differentiated Damco products within the NAM marketplace. You will also be responsible for developing an RFI and RFP process that will optimize procurement practices for these underlying services, ensuring that the -go to market' position for these products have a competitive cost base that will allow for the achievement of significant bottom line impact. You will be establishing guidelines for service execution continuity and profitability optimization for all services and products attached to the LCL and LSS network, correcting any behavior that is negatively impacting stated profit targets. You will also actively manage the load planning for all DCC boxes, ensuring maximum profitability achievement for each. Job Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must have a BA/BS and at least 8 years of related industry experience and 2-3 years of LCL and LSS product experience. Additionally, experience with ocean freight/NVOCC and general freight forwarding is strongly preferred. |
