| Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Solutions for an $890MM, 'Top 5' in the nation provider of over dimensional logistics services. Will be responsible for establishing pricing strategies and operational aspects of over dimensional railroad move opportunities, coordinating truck, rigging, and rail timing to ensure meeting of customer expectations, working closely with the sales team to uncover and identify rail opportunities, collecting critical customer data to insure accurate quoting of rail shipments and working with subcontractors including trucking, rail lines, and rigging companies to ensure the highest levels of service. Challenge is to increase revenue, streamline operating costs and improve profitability. Job Requirements: Background Required: • Over Dimensional Rail Operations Management (2+ years) • Clearance & Rigging Knowledge • Industry Related Rate Structure Knowledge • Thorough Knowledge of High, Wide and Heavy Operations • Rail Industry Regulations • Computer literate • Location: Minnesota (relocation assistance) Background Preferred (but not required): • Multi-Modal Operational Knowledge of Heavy Haul Freight (rail, truck, etc.) • Wind Energy Supply Chain (rail) • Education: College Graduate-BA or BS Other Essential Abilities and Skills: • Results Driven • Solid Communicator • Team Player (works with team toward common goal) • Strong Negotiator • High Energy & Persistent |
