The Labor Relations Manager function includes coaching and counseling, participate in contract negotiation activities, and provide day to day human resource support to customers and employees, both internal and external at the facility. Apply lean concepts to make process improvements to the HR function. Maintain current knowledge of employment law and benefits. Individual must be able to lead teams to drive change and support the Human Resources strategy. Individual will at times report on progress of key performance objectives for this area of responsibility. Job Requirements: Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 5-7 years related human resource generalist leadership experience, including a solid employee and labor relations background. Experience as "company spokesman" or key participant in contract negotiations. General knowledge of the field of human resources including employment law, FMLA, ADA, and code of ethics. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems. SAP or other HRIS systems experience a plus. Lean/Six Sigma skills and/or training, or experience working in a Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing environment a plus. |
