Job Description:
This position is for local residents only.
The Distribution Center Supervisor provides effective workflow and front-line supervision to small to medium sized group of hourly employees, ensuring efficient use of labor hours and productivity index while simultaneously employing a continuous process improvement philosophy and maintaining open communication channels. Monitors daily schedules and adjusts staffing levels according to distribution center volume. Applies accountability standards based on KPIs and implements change to continuously improve performance and increase workflow efficiencies. Facilitates effective and timely communication to employees by being accessible and responsive and resolving issues in a timely manner. Maintains operational integrity of assigned department, ensures processes are effectively established, followed, monitored and optimized. Recruits, trains and develops staff, and recognizes individual and team successes.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 plus years experience managing non-exempt employees
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Proven success motivating and mentoring direct reports to high performance standards
• 3 plus years progressively challenging experience
• Working knowledge of distribution operations, systems (e.g. WMS) and processes
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to work varied shifts
• Proficient in PC based applications
• Proven decision making capabilities
